Sunday Village takes care of our youngest guests! The resort features three dedicated areas for children: a playground, a children’s water play area, and the Sunday Kids club. Please read the rules carefully to ensure your children have a safe and enjoyable stay.

1. Playground

Facilities

Swings, slides, playhouses, and trampolines. A special rubber surface covering the entire playground protects children from injury in the event of a fall.

1.1. Access and hours

1.1. The playground is open to the public at any time convenient for you. Admission is free for all Sunday Village guests.

1.2. The playground is intended for children. Adults may be present on the playground solely as chaperones and are not permitted to use the attractions intended for children (swings, slides, trampolines, etc.).

1.2. Safety and supervision

There is NO staff member or attendant on the playground. Parents or legal guardians are SOLELY responsible for the children’s safety.

1.3. Parents or persons accompanying children are required to remain with the child at all times and provide continuous supervision.

1.4. It is prohibited to leave preschool-aged and early elementary school-aged children on the playground without adult supervision.

1.5. Before a child begins playing on an attraction, ensure that they meet the height and physical fitness requirements for that equipment. We recommend:

– swings with supports — for children ages 1 to 12 with an adult present;

– slides and playhouses — ages 3 and up;

– trampoline — ages 3 and up; jumping in shoes is prohibited.

1.6. If you have any questions, encounter any problems, or experience an accident, please contact Sunday Village staff immediately at the front desk or by phone at (066) 605-15-55.

1.3. Rules of conduct on the playground

1.7. The following are PROHIBITED on the playground:

– Bringing animals—this is dangerous for children and pets;

– Eating or chewing gum while riding on the playground equipment;

– smoking and consuming alcoholic beverages;

– using profanity;

– pushing, hitting, or insulting other children;

– adults using children’s rides (swings, slides, trampolines);

– bringing and using glassware;

– damaging playground equipment.

1.8. Parents are financially liable for any intentional damage to playground equipment caused by their children.

2. Children’s water park — water slides and attractions

Facilities

Children’s water slides and water attractions. Located in the Sunday Village Water Park.

2.1. Access and age restrictions

2.1. The children’s water park is open during the water park’s operating hours: 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM.

2.2. Age recommendations for water attractions:

– low-height water slides — ages 3 and up, accompanied by an adult;

– medium and high water slides — ages 6 and up; children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult;

2.2. Safety in the children’s water park

Parents or legal guardians bear FULL responsibility for the child’s safety in the water park — do not let your child out of your sight!

2.4. Children under 10 years of age are admitted to the water park ONLY when accompanied by adults and under their constant supervision, in accordance with the Sunday Village Water Park Rules.

2.5. For children under 2 years of age — special swim diapers are required.

2.6. Safety rules in the water area (general):

– Have your child wear a life jacket or water wings when near open bodies of water;

– Do not let your child run on wet surfaces—there is an increased risk of falling;

– Do not allow children to slide down slides headfirst or while standing;

– Prevent overheating—regularly take your child into the shade and provide drinking water;

– Children with open wounds or skin conditions are prohibited from entering the water.

2.7. All general rules for using the Sunday Village aqua zone, available on the website sunday-village.com.ua, apply to the children’s aqua zone.

3. Sunday Kids Club

Sunday Kids Club

A kids’ club located within Sunday Village, where your children can have fun and engage in meaningful activities under supervision.

3.1. About the club

3.1. The Sunday Kids Club offers organized recreational activities for children.
The club’s program is diverse and includes:

– active and energetic games;

– sports competitions and relay races;

– creative activities (drawing, sculpting, appliqué);

– educational activities and quests.

3.2. Activities are held on specific days and times according to the program, which may vary depending on the season and current events.

3.2. Registration and contact information

3.3. To enroll your child in the club’s activities, please call +38 (067) 616-73-05 in advance to confirm the following:

– the schedule of classes for the current day;

– age groups and the daily program;

– required clothing for classes;

– the group meeting place.

3.3. Rules for attending Sunday Kids Club

3.4. While the child is at the club, the teachers supervise and are responsible for the child’s safety within the scope of the club’s activities.

3.5. Parents are required to:

– inform the club’s staff of any medical conditions, allergies, or limitations their child may have before the event begins;

– inform the staff of any behavioral or developmental issues their child may have;

– provide a contact phone number;

– pick up their child promptly after the event ends;

– provide their child with appropriate clothing, footwear, and sunscreen.

3.6. The child must be healthy—children showing signs of illness (fever, cough, runny nose) will not be permitted to participate in events.

3.7. Sunday Village is not liable for any harm resulting from information about the child’s health that was intentionally withheld by the parents.

4. General rules and responsibilities

4.1. In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Children” (Article 12), parents bear primary responsibility for the upbringing and development of their child, as well as for the child’s health and safety.

4.2. Responsibility for the child’s safety is distributed as follows:

– On the playground: exclusively parents/accompanying adults (no staff present).

– In the children’s water play area: parents/accompanying adults (staff are responsible for the technical condition of the attractions).

– At the Sunday Kids Club during events: club animators are responsible within the scope of the events being held and for the duration specified in the schedule for that day.

4.3. Sunday Village undertakes to:

– maintain the playground and water play area equipment in good working order;

– conduct regular technical inspections of attractions and play equipment;

– ensure the sanitary condition of children’s areas in accordance with DSanPiN.

4.4. In the event a child is injured:

– immediately notify Sunday Village staff (reception or phone +38 (067) 616-73-05);

– if necessary, an ambulance will be called (103 or 112);

– do not move the child if a serious injury is suspected until medical personnel arrive.

4.5. Intentional damage to equipment in children’s areas shall be fully compensated by the User in accordance with Article 1166 of the Civil Code of Ukraine.

5. Actions to take when an air raid alarm is sound

5.1. When an air raid siren sounds, all parents and children are required to:

– immediately stop all games and activities;

– take the children out of the playground, water area, or club;

– proceed to the nearest shelter—the first floor of the Sunday Apart Hotel building—in accordance with the evacuation plan.

5.2. Upon the announcement of an air raid alert, Sunday Kids Club staff will immediately organize the evacuation of children under their supervision to the shelter and notify parents.

5.3. Remaining in open areas and in the water during an air raid alert is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

5.4. A map of shelter locations is posted on information boards throughout Sunday Village.
